COMPETITIVE APPLICANTS

Applicants who are generally competitive to Health Studies will have the following:

1. Prerequisites completed or in-progress at time of application
2. Cumulative college GPA of 3.00
3. Minimum 3.00 GPA in both required composition courses
4. Well-written personal statement that demonstrates motivation and understanding of Health Studies

REASONING

Courses that satisfy this requirement focus on mathematics and statistics, or symbolic argument. Common courses that meet the requirement are: MATH 107, MATH 146, MATH 140, MATH 148 and MATH 151. If you have questions about your RSN, please consult an advisor. Note that MATH 141 and MATH 142 do not meet RSN.
