UW Bothell offers three degrees in Chemistry: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (BS), Bachelor of Science with Biochemistry (BS), and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (BA).

Students will focus on the atomic and molecular nature of all matter, including atomic structure, bonding, energetics, and equilibrium as well as the interactions of matter with energy and light. Our program prepares students for studies at graduate schools or dental, pharmacy, or medical schools, as well as careers in pharmaceutics, medicinal, environmental quality, industrial labs, and education.

Applicants who are generally competitive to Chemistry will have the following:

3.00 grade or higher in each prerequisite
Cumulative college GPA of 3.00 or higher
A positive grade trend with few to no repeats
