The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) focuses on computer programming and human-centered software development processes. Students gain essential knowledge in object-oriented programming, data structures, analysis of algorithms, software engineering, management principles, hardware architecture, and operating systems.

UNIVERSITY MINIMUM ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Transfer applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for admissions:

Minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.0.
Supporting documents (transcripts, test scores, personal statement, etc. – varies by major program).
Completion of CADR or core subject requirements if applicant has fewer than 40 transferrable credits (see below) at the time of application.
Proof of English language proficiency (if required).

MAJOR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

This is a capacity-constrained major, meaning that students who meet the general admission requirements and minimum GPA in each prerequisite course are eligible for review; however, admission is limited by the number of seats available in the program and is not guaranteed.

POST-BACC/GRADUATE APPLICANTS

Since the program prioritizes applicants without Bachelor's degrees, it is rare for students already holding a completed Bachelor's degree to be admitted to the program.
