The Bachelor of Arts in Applied Computing (AC) is a multidisciplinary degree that allows students to become experts in integrating computer technology with a second discipline. This program is highly relevant today, as computing expertise is needed in almost every aspect of society.

This degree is designed specifically to build in-depth, well-rounded knowledge as both a computing professional and in an area of specialized interest.

UNIVERSITY MINIMUM ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Transfer applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for admissions:

Minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 2.0.
Supporting documents (transcripts, test scores, personal statement, etc. – varies by major program).
Completion of CADR or core subject requirements if applicant has fewer than 40 transferrable credits (see below) at the time of application.
Proof of English language proficiency (if required).

MAJOR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

This is a capacity-constrained major, meaning that students who meet the general admission requirements and minimum GPA in each prerequisite course are eligible for review; however, admission is limited by the number of seats available in the program and is not guaranteed.

COMPETITIVE APPLICANTS

Applicants who are generally competitive to AC will have the following:

Prerequisite GPA of 3.50
Cumulative college GPA of 3.50
A well-written personal statement
A positive grade trend with few to no repeats

POST-BACC/GRADUATE APPLICANTS

Since the program prioritizes applicants without Bachelor's degrees, it is rare for students already holding a completed Bachelor's degree to be admitted to the program.
