    Note: we will host a Preview Day for transfer students in winter quarter (more details to come). 

    Connect with faculty, advisors, and student support teams. Learn about the majors offered in our different Meta-Major Pathways. Boxed lunches will be provided as part of the event. 

    All attendees receive an application fee waiver!

    Opening Session - ARC

    8:45 AM – 10:00 AM

    Preview Day 2025 kicks off at the ARC! Here's the schedule for the Opening Session:

    • 8:45–9:15 AM - Check-In

    • 9:15–9:20 AM - Welcome Address

      After the Welcome Address, we'll share more about the schedule so that you can get the most out of your time at the University of Washington Bothell!

    • 9:20–9:35 AM - Academic Advising Talk

      University of Washington offers centralized advising to help students from registering for their first courses through to graduation.

    • 9:35–10:00 AM - Admissions Information Sessions

      Not sure what you want to study yet? You’re not alone! Join one of our Academic Advisors to learn how UW Bothell supports students in discovering their interests, exploring different fields, and choosing a major that fits your goals. This session will walk you through our Meta-Major Pathways, flexible programs designed to help you start strong—even if you’re still deciding

    • Business & Policy

      Location: DISC-061

      Majors represented in the Business & Policy area of study examine organizational and societal structures to improve processes or develop initiatives. Academic and other learning experiences related to this meta-major generally enhance students’ ability for project management, and increase their skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and communication.

    • Arts & Media + Education & Society

      Location: UW1-110

      Majors represented in the Arts & Media area of study examine visual, literary, and media practices as a way to transmit information and ideas in professional, technical, organizational, academic, and/or public settings. Coursework and other learning experiences related to this meta-major generally enhance students’ abilities for ideation, and increase their skills in oral, written, and visual communications. 

      Majors represented in the Education & Society area of study identify, assess, and analyze human experiences and cultural values to understand societal behaviors, structures, issues, and practices. Academic and other learning experiences related to this meta-major generally enhance students’ abilities for inter cultural communication and analytical thinking, and increases their skills in critical thinking, analysis, and complex problem solving.

    • Health & Natural Sciences

      Location: UW2-005

      Majors represented in the Health & Natural Sciences area of study apply knowledge of the physical, chemical, biological, and social sciences to solve problems and advance discoveries. Coursework and other learning experiences related to this academic pathway provide hands-on experience with lab research or field work and enhance students’ abilities to analyze data, identify patterns, manage interactions, or predict outcomes.

    • Technology & Engineering

      Location: North Creek

      Majors represented in the Technology & Engineering area of study solve complex problems that include scientific, social, political, cultural, and ethical dilemmas. Coursework and other learning experiences generally enhance students’ abilities to solve problems or equations using logic and technology, and increase skills in data visualization and analysis.

    • From Running Start to UWB

      Location: North Creek

      Running Start students often have unique questions when it comes to applications and credits. In this session, you’ll learn how to transfer credits, understand prerequisites for certain majors, and explore the possibility of applying to your major before Fall Quarter. Our advisors are here to support you in making the most of your Running Start experience.

    • Disability Resources

      Location: UW1-110

      Disability Resources for Students (DRS) recognizes disability as an aspect of diversity that is integral to society and to our campus community. DRS serves as a partner in fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for all University of Washington students. This session will be covering steps that UW Bothell takes in order to make sure students feel accommodated and able to reach their full potential.

    • Experiential Learning - Study Abroad, Global Initiatives, and Research

      Location: UW1-120

      Discover how to enhance your education through real-world experiences! This session highlights opportunities to get involved in research, community projects, and global learning - including study abroad.

    • Career Services - Internships & Pre-Health Advising

      Location: DISC-061

      UW Bothell Career Services partners with the campus community to help Huskies explore career interests, build skills, and connect with employers. In this session, you’ll learn how Career Services can support you in preparing for and pursuing the career path that’s right for you.

    • Financial Aid

      Location: UW2-005

      Meeting the costs of an undergraduate education is a major investment for many families. It requires planning, careful decision making, and a commitment from both you and your family. We believe that students from all economic backgrounds should have the opportunity to attend the University of Washington Bothell and that finances should not be a barrier. Come learn how you can apply for financial aid to help fund your education!
