Hometown: Marysville, WA Cultural Affinity Group: Asian American Languages other than English:A little French Major:(Pre-major) Psychology Campus Clubs & Organizations: None Fun Facts: I like to collect squishmallows! Why did you choose UW Bothell: UWB really stood out to me because of the smaller campus size. I felt like it was easier to navigate as a first year student, and the class sizes are smaller which makes it easier to make connections with other people. The professors also take their time to try to get to know their students! The school is in the midst of growing, so it's fun to see how the campus grows and changes! Bio: On my free time, I enjoy playing a wide range of video games, although I prefer RPG and relaxing games the most. I love to creative write, but it's sometimes difficult to find the motivation to put the words down. I've also been learning how to crochet, and it's my goal to be somewhat decent at it by the end of this year. |

Gaia Limosani(She/Her/Hers) |
Hometown: Milan, Italy Cultural Affinity Group: Italian Languages other than English: Italian (fluently), Spanish (advanced level) Major: Business Administration (first year admit), Global Studies Campus Clubs & Organizations: Women in Business Fun Facts: I moved 11 years ago from Italy! Why did you choose UW Bothell? I chose to attend UWB because it gave me a chance to learn how to be more independent in smaller steps than usual; usually, people move straight into the dorms at 18, but I had the chance to live at home and commute to school, and next year will be living on campus as a Residential Advisor. As a Business student, I was also really grateful that I was admitted into my major as a freshman since that is giving me a chance to double major in Global Studies as well. When I had the chance to tour the school last year, I was able to see the diversity and inclusiveness that I hadn't noticed at other colleges. Bio: Outside of school, I love to bake and try new recipes. My favorite recipe I've made so far was an Italian cheesecake with fresh peaches. I usually try to make Italian recipes since I'm from Italy, and my mom is an Italian Personal Chef, so I want to keep the family traditions going. I actually got into baking a few years ago after watching all of the Great British Baking Show seasons, and have now started to branch out and try my own things. I often use baking to relax and as a way to show my appreciation for others. |

Why did you choose to attend UW Bothell?
I enjoy the experience of being in a small campus while being in a large, diverse community. I get to meet the same people from previous and current classes, as I walk around the campus. In classes, professors want to get to know you and want to support your learning experience which allows me to learn more about the material and know that the professors are there to help you.
Bio: Although I consider myself as an introvert, I enjoy the experience of teaching and talking to people. I teach technology courses at a local community center over the summer, and I work with students on technology support at the campus library. I enjoy watching Spongebob SquarePants (yes, I am a college student) and also enjoy doing arts & crafts with something called Perler Beads.
