When high schoolers go on college visits, they want to hear what it’s like from ACTUAL current students. That’s why we’re calling on YOU to share your un-scripted thoughts about UW Bothell. We’re asking students to submit videos of themselves recorded on their phones responding to several prompts (below). These selfie videos will be edited together into a supercut that will be shared with prospective students.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE

BONUS: Is there anything else you’d like to share that wasn’t covered?
TIPS FOR RECORDING
Be concise (10-30 second clips are best). Longer stories or anecdotes likely won’t make the cut.
Repeat the question in your answer. For the question “What made UW Bothell feel like a good fit for you”, begin your answer with “UW Bothell is a good fit for me because…”
Avoid scripting your responses. It should feel like a natural conversation with a friend.
Hold phone in vertical orientation.
Head should be centered in the screen.
Face should be lit from the front so viewers can see you.
Wear whatever you’d typically wear to class – or UW Bothell Husky gear!
Record from campus, outdoors, your home study space, wherever you feel comfortable.
Find a quiet location. Avoid traffic noise, crowds, or areas with excessive winds. Pure silence is not necessary.
